Penn Valley Firefighters Association
The Penn Valley Firefighters Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to community betterment and promotion of the profession by supporting the Penn Valley Fire Protection District and assisting those in need through volunteer efforts and financial support.
The Association holds a monthly breakfast open to all on the third Sunday of every month at Fire Station 43 located on Spenceville road. These breakfasts are the primary fundraising activities conducted by the Association. The doors open at 7:30am and close around 11:00am. A typical month has about 250 customers stop by. The Association would like to thank them all!
The proceeds from the breakfast go to tuition assistance for the firefighters of the district who wish to take various courses on firefighting and medical subjects as well as purchasing equipment for the District. This year, the Association has purchased intraosseous infusion systems for all the ambulances as well as GPS units for the entire first due fire and medical apparatus.
The Association is always looking for community volunteers who wish to help at our breakfasts. The Association meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm at Station 43.
